A HEALTHY AND SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
COTS believes that it its business objectives cannot
be achieved unless its activities are preformed in a manner that protects its
employees and the environment in which they live and work.
COTS will act positively to protect the health and safety of its personnel; and
others who may be affected by its activities.
COTS will take the necessary precautions to reduce adverse effects on the
physical environment in which its activities are carried out.
HSE is the responsibility of all levels of management with the active support
and commitment of all employees.
It is the responsibility of each individual to act and work in a manner which
safeguards the Health and Safety of Themselves, Fellow Workers, Company
Property and the Environment.
The COTS Management Board is responsible for ensuring that there are adequate
staff, training materials and funds to meet its requirements. They will
regularly or whenever necessary review the effectiveness of the policy, in the
light of operating experience, changing environmental conditions, new
legislations or industrial regulations. All personnel will have changes brought
to thier notice as soon as practicable after they have been made.
